Mental Health & Wellbeing Expo

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Expo is an integral part of Mental Health Month in the ACT.

Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions and the need for physical distancing, we have had to cancel the expo for 2020. Please look at our other programs to get involved in Mental Health Month ACT in 2020. We look forward to hopefully bringing you the expo again in 2021.

This free public event aims to bring the ACT and surrounding communities together to celebrate positive wellbeing and learn more about mental health services available in the region. Importantly, the Expo aims to encourage people to seek help early to help reduce the impact of mental illness of an individual's life.

In 2019 we saw 80 local organisations come together in a fun market-day atmosphere with interactive activities, sausage sizzle and live music.

What happened at the 2019 expo?

  • 80+ local mental health & wellbeing organisations, groups and businesses

  • Sausage sizzle provided by the Tuggeranong Men's Shed, Inc

  • Live entertainment including a range of music from local musicians on the main stage as well as a dance from youth dance group Kulture Break, a skit from S.A.D Australia, lunchtime yoga with Zoe from Bikram YOGA Kingston, meditation from Free Meditation Australia and a talk called ‘Emotionally Fit: The missing link to improving your health and wellbeing’ from Haylstorm Fitness all on the second stage!
