Mental Health & Wellbeing Expo 2018

DATE: Thursday 11 October 2018

TIME: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

WHERE: Garema Place (Petrie Plaza and City Walk, Civic).

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Expo is an integral part of Mental Health Month in the ACT.

This free public event aims to bring the community together to celebrate positive wellbeing and learn more about mental health services available in the region. Importantly, the Expo aims to encourage people to seek help early to help reduce the impact of mental illness of an individual's life.

Join over 70 local organisations in a fun market-day atmosphere with interactive activities, sausage sizzle and music.

Download the stallholder information pack here. Stallholder registrations are now closed for the 2018 expo.

Who will I see at the 2018 Expo?

The 2018 expo will host a wide variety of over 70 local organisations with interactive activities including art therapy and drumming for mindfulness.

You can also meet an alpaca and pat a puppy!

Come along and celebrate positive mental health and find out more about the

mental health services and programs available in the ACT.

2018 Stallholders

The 2017 Expo attracted over 1, 650 patrons with over 70 stallholders gathered to exhibit programs, services and initiatives designed to improve the mental health and wellbeing of Canberrans.

Thanks to all the stallholders, patrons, musicians, and volunteer helpers who attended and helped make the 2017 Expo the biggest and most memorable one yet!

A special thanks to Nils and Hercules the alpaca, who brought smiles to the faces of all who crossed their path. Thanks also to the boys from Tuggeranong Men's Shed for putting on a ripper sausage sizzle! And finally, thank you to Garry and the Faumui's for donating the PA and looking after the music and entertainment for the day. Your input was a most welcome addition to our Expo!
